At 4 Corners Logistics, we provide nationwide palletised freight distribution through our partnership with the United Pallet Network (UPN).
A pallet network is a collaborative system of independent haulage companies working together to move palletised freight across the UK and Europe. Each member company covers a specific geographical area, so customers get a reliable national distribution service while still dealing with a trusted local transport provider.
Through UPN, we can collect freight locally and deliver pallets to destinations across the country efficiently and cost-effectively.
How the pallet network works
The UPN network operates on a hub-and-spoke distribution model designed specifically for palletised freight.
1. CollectionWe collect your palletised goods from your premises and transport them to our local depot.
2. Linehaul to the hubPallets destined for other regions travel overnight to the UPN central hub, where freight from across the UK arrives.
3. Sortation & routingAt the hub, pallets are scanned, sorted and transferred onto vehicles heading to the depot responsible for the delivery postcode.
4. Final deliveryThe receiving depot delivers the pallet locally to the final destination.
Nationwide coverage with local service
The United Pallet Network is made up of more than 90 independent member depots across the UK, each responsible for collections and deliveries within its designated postcode areas. That means you benefit from:
